Kim Conde

 Dive Master 

 

 

 

 

 

Kim, an avid reader from a young age always enjoyed books and stories about the sea.  As a teenager he first became interested in Scuba from watching the television series “Sea Hunt” starring Lloyd Bridges.  The idea of exploring the ocean depths was a constant dream of young Mr. Conde.  In September 1970, at the age of 16, Kim became a NASDS Certified Diver at M&M Diving School in Yuma Arizona.  Later that year, after a number of dives in San Diego and Catalina Island, Kim achieved Advanced Open Water Certification with NASDS. 

During the mid-1970’s Kim worked at another Yuma Dive Shop, Aqua World.  Also a NASDS Dive shop, Kim Worked in retail sales as well as acting as an Assistant Instructor. 

 Throughout the 80’s and 90’s Kim concentrated on raising a family.  Diving when time permitted in California and Mexico  

Around the turn of the Century Kim’s son Maurice became old enough to learn to dive and thus started a new chapter in Kim’s Diving Adventures.  Kim attended classes along with “Moe”.  This time at Arizona Scuba Shack.  A PADI Dive Shop.  During this time Kim volunteered many hours at the shop helping out in the retail side as well as in the back room.
           
 

 

Certification Level:  PADI Open Water Diver,  PADI Advanced Open Water Diver,  PADI Rescue Diver PADI Dive Master.

Favorite Dive Sites: Rumors persist as to Kim’s favorite dive location.  He absolutely loves any excuse to get wet.  Probably his favorite Site is on any of the Wrecks off San Diego California, but he is always looking for his next “Best Dive Spot”
