April
The City of Yuma Fire and Police Departments are finishing their Public Safety Dive Team course this month. Special Kudos to Bill Kereluk and Charlie Smith for putting the project together and pulling it through. The teams thank Chief Macarthur, Chief Robinson and Chief Lineberry for the support. The Yuma area has 5 public safety dive teams; Rural Metro, BorStar and Sheriffs Office.
For those going to Cozumel final payments are coming due at the end of the month. If you are just finding out aobut the trip there is still time to get on with us. Call 783-1177 for more information and check out the trips page.
March
The group for Cozumel is growing. The later date seems to be a little more enticing to those who may have work schedules that center around a school year. Those that have placed their deposit have also been checking the air lines and we recommend that you don't wait to late to book air fare.
Arizona Western students please check with Shawn about sizing for equipment that he supplies for the class. He has books and other supplies as well. Call 783-1177 for best times.
February
Well most have figured that Shawn and Arizona Scuba Shack have moved into new digs. New location is 1349 South 22nd Drive, same phone - 783-1177.
A lot has gone into the new shop and it really looks great. Please stop by and check it out. Shawn, Rose or Jeff can answer questions about classes and the Cozumel trip that you want to go on.
Arizona Western College scuba will be in April and is filling fast. The class will be 3 week ends, 2 in town and 1 in San Diego. Scuba equipment is supplied but students need their own basic gear: mask, snorkel, fins, booties.
